Hey, anytime you go to play a Legends course, expect a great day of golfing experience. Once you see the gigantic, inviting Clubhouse and practice facility, you know it is a serious place. Always treated professionally and personally.
Moorland course is very different for Myrtle Beach. A lot of dirt was moved to create holes that you really have to see to appreciate. Some elevated greens that seem like they are a mile in the sky. Course is a little tricky in spots the first time you play it. Read the course yardage book (free) carefully. Once you have seen the holes once, you will love the playing of this course.
Just wish that Legends would give us Locals and/or Myrtle Beach Golf Passport members a little bit of a better deal. We have our choice of several really nice area courses that average under $35 year round. Legends may be a step up nicer, maybe worth 7-10 dollars more than our normal. Above that and we will rarely if ever play there with in regularity because of the high price. But if they are filling the place and do not need us, good for them.
Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area
Condition of Course, Layout, Ambiance, No Houses on Course, Staff, Clubhouse, Pro Shop
