This course was built to fit into a housing development. The layout contained some pretty severe doglegs, which didn't seem to favor golfers, but rather the housing developers. Many fairways very tight, some with OB right at close tree line (about 30 yards from edge of teebox?), because 3-story townhouse rows were 20 yards beyond trees. None of the water hazards were marked and there were no local rules posted, so we were left wondering boundaries, and whether hazards were lateral. We couldn't find any yardage markers (no sprinkler heads, etc.) other than the typical stakes at 100, 125, etc., and sometimes in-ground at 200, 125, etc...so often hard to estimate distance. Course was in pretty good shape, but speed of greens was inconsistent... Overall, for price charged it was low value...we won't be going back. Even if I lived in this "Penderbrook" development, I'd find somewhere else to golf! Much better is available in our area.
