Heron Glen is an amazing find for a public (municipal) golf course. From the moment you arrive and are greeted by the enthusiastic young men who take your clubs and set up your cart to the pro shop, on course and snack bar staff, the treatment is like a private club. The course is in great condition, play moves along at a 4 to 4 1/2 hour pace and the price cannot be beat--$43 for a non-resident, senior with cart!!

The course is in top condition. Pace of play has never exceeded 4 hours for a foursome in carts and the price, for non-resident, senior can't be beat--$41 with cart included. Lack of a clubhouse is the only negative, but it is still a great value.
