Soule Park is an exquisitely beautiful golf course, laid out on an old ojai ranch with the best views of the surrounding 6,900-foot peaks in the Mediterrean climate Ojai Valley. It is also fun to play, challenging with long par fours and difficult par 3s and speedy, but fair, greens. It is well managed by a year-old management team headed by Keith Brown, a veteran country club manager. The clubhouse, bar and restaurant staff is superb in that they are very friendly and give excellent service. Those of us who live in Ojai consider this golf course a great community asset. Check it out for a drink or dinner at sunset, too.
Would travel: 60-120 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing, Ranks with the best in this price level, Best course in the area
Condition of Course, Price, Pace of Play, Food/ Bar facilities, Difficulty, Ambiance, Staff, Pro Shop
