Located on military base (Parris Island), but public play allowed by calling in advance. Name must be on tee sheet, and pass must be obtained at Main Gate. Completed $5 million renovation 5 years ago, changing a long, flat course to one with rolling fairways and water hazards impacting 14 holes. Well worth the hassle of getting on a military base. Best course for the price in the area.

Bottom line: I would play again, Best course in the area, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
