Two 18 hole courses at this location, with no houses on either course. Both courses have nice, well maintained layouts with the Creeks getting a slight edge over the Lakes course. The greens are nicely bunkered, giving you the feel of a more expensive course, and the bunkers are well maintained, which is my pet peeve for local munis or daily fee courses in this area. Although the terrain is generally flat, they have done a nice job of mounding and terracing so that it isn't that noticeable. You need to pay atention to the signs along the cart path, as it can be confusing to find the next hole on occasion.
Cart ladies are friendly and are generally present. Carts have GPS and some marshalling is apparent to help keep things moving. A starter helps keep things organized.
There is enough water on the course to make it interesting and attractive, without many forced carries. Trees line many of the fairways , but they are kept well thinned, so that it is possible to play out of them in most situations.
Generally, this is a great golfing experience, whichever course you choose.
Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Ranks with the best in this price level, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
Condition of Course, Difficulty, Layout, Price, Ambiance, No Houses on Course, Pace of Play, Staff, Clubhouse, Pro Shop
