$21 (cart included), played on Friday, August 2012 at noon
Played on a Friday Noon.
Nicely kept County run course.
Wide fairways and ample runoff areas.
Tee boxes were pretty good, decent shape and fairly smooth.
Fairways were in good condition, rarely in a poor surface. With the recent drought, off fairway areas were very dry and hard..don't hit it there.
Sand traps were a bit disappointing, they used a sand gravel mix and they were in dire need of additional sand.
Greens were very nice, firm surface (a ball mark with a full 9-iron was about 1/2-ball depth), medium quick, but consistent and fair.
I played from the whites per request from all 3 of my partners, and many holes were a short wedge to play in.
Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Ranks with the best in this price level, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
