This is a brand new course and still needed some maturity in the Fall of 2007. Beautiful layout and scenery, with a few new homes being built on some hole locations. Very challenging from the tips, but quite friendly for my wife from the forward tees.
It's out of the way, not very close to any major cities and situated half-way between Albuquerque and El Paso. Resides next to a very large (30 mile long) lake in central New Mexico.
Great course for the $$'s, and a spectacular club house/bar/restaurant.
Would travel: 120-300 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level, Best course in the area
