This course was built at the beginning of the Sacramento area's 'golden age' of public golf courses. RTJ Sr. designed this course to be played in less than 3 hrs; a 'get-a-little-golf-in' timeframe for the busy executive. Having properly designed and built greens & green banks; for years EDH GC was known for the best and most unforgiving greens in the area. Unique for its time, EDH GC rewarded an accurate long iron game and a short game requiring touch, feel and a large dose of faith. Many great memories of this green oasis in the Sacramento foothills.
Would travel: 0-10 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing, Ranks with the best in this price level
