Banner Country Club has improved the playing conditions FIVE FOLD in the last several years. Growing up in the area, I have played this course a lot over the last 20 years and it has come a LOOOONG way with course improvements, especially over the last 3 years. If you have never played Banner, or haven't played it recently, do yourself a favor this spring. The greens fees are DIRT CHEAP, with a special running most days for something like $25 for 18 holes before 12:00 (or maybe even until 2:00 p.m.?), and if you want to ride you will NOT find lesser cart fees in Connecticut! Bottom line, play Banner once and you'll be back at LEAST a couple more times every season, and with more loot in your wallet.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles
Bottom line: Ranks with the best in this price level
