I had played this course about 10 to 12 years ago. I found it a challenge for my game, but well worth the experience.
My problem with the course this time was that if I hit my ball into the rough, more than once it took me two shots to get out of the rough. The lesson: "Don't hit your ball into the rough!" That, of course, was my problem, not the problem of the golf course. The greens were in great shape and were reasonably fast. Views, especially from
Hole #4 a very short and challenging par 3 with little margin for error, are spectacular. The pace of play was great as our group never had to wait for hit our shots except on #18 when the group ahead of us, with which we caught up on #18, was on the green. We had to wait for them to clear the green before hitting our shots. The wait was probably all of 60 to 90 seconds, hardly worth mentioning. If this course was closer to my home, I'd consider playing it more
often. Hope to play it at least once a year in the future, if not more often.
