Centennial Oaks is as close to links golf you can get in Iowa. Fairways and greens are well manicured. Staff is friendly and accomodating.
Hoping for lunch after our round. The clubhouse and restaurant/bar are absolutely gorgeous. Unfortuntely, they were closed. The best we could get was a bag of chips.
Houses on the course are a little close in some spots. In fact I hit someone's million dollar home with a screaming pulled bullet drive. Thank God no damage and even better, no one home. Still haven't gotten that shot out of my head.
All things considered, a beautiful course.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area
