The Orange County golf complex--it is a complex: 45 holes, huge practice areas, dorm housing for visiting college golf teams, mega-sized pro shop, etc--- is a real mecca for any golfer. They handle a lot of golfer very efficiently and pleasantly. We moved easily from the bag drop to the practice area to the first tee. The morning we played was a cool (40s, going to mid-70s once the sun came up) cloudless day. As we warmed up on the massive practice tee-- hit as many as you want-- hot-air balloons quietly drifted by a mile or so away.
The course was in excellent condition-- shots in fairways were rewarded with good lies, the greens were moderately fast, consistent and fair. The Panther course uses a lot of real estate. Landing areas for drives are expansive making the round fun, not torture. Our group had a great time and we would definitely all play it again.
