Northgate Country Club and Daniel McIntyre hired my company to perform services on their property last year after Hurricane Harvey. When we were hired we were told we needed to complete the job as quickly as possible because the Club had a full schedule of weddings and member events for the fall. To help Northgate and its members and clients keep an uninterrupted event schedule, we rushed all of our available employees and equipment to the site at their request. We serviced all of their buildings and made them clean and safe for all of the events they held that season as they requested. Neither Mr. McIntyre or the Club management complained or let us know they were dissatisfied with the services we provided. After the work was completed, Mr. McIntyre signed a job completion form that stated the work was done to his satisfaction. However, nearly a year after Harvey, we still have not received any payment for the work we performed. The Club has had many events in the spaces we worked on, but has continued to refuse to pay us even $1 for the work we performed at their behest, to make sure their clients were able to have the kind of events they deserve.
