Pahrump

$41 (cart included), played on Tuesday, February 2010 at noon
Considering how much green fees are in Vegas during the "on" season, it's worth a drive out here to Pahrump to play Mountain Falls as the price is probably half what a compariable couse would be in the Vegas area. The area is part of a master planned community. However, with the housing market in the dumps, don't expect houses around the majority of the course for some time to come. The greens and fairways were in good shape and the greens rolled true. It's not the most difficult course, but fairly challenging for a mid handicap golfer like myself. Would recommend it for sure if you're a little short on cash from the casinos and want to play a good course at a budget price.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
Condition of Course, Layout, Price, No Houses on Course
