The is a hidden gem in terms of layout and views. Beautiful. I've loved playing this course since it opened in 1999. The problem is the new owner refuses to spend $ on the fairways and tee boxes and they are in terrible condition. Fairways are hardpan often with little grass under the ball. They took one of the best clubhouse/bar setups around and made it off limits to golfers! For banquets only. Golfers are herded into a small patio enclosure.
The greens are in good shape and fun to put on but the fairways are worse than local munies. An embarrassment for a course of this caliber.
It is sad what has happened to this course.
Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better courses for less nearby
