Do Not Recall (cart included), played on Thursday, October 2016 at 10:00 AM
Played here Oct 13, 2016 as part of a group plan. Was not on our original rota, but the aftereffects of HurrIcane Matthew, which hit the area last week, caused our packager to replace Meadowlands with this course. Eagles Nest is a nice, older course, not quite up to standards of the Big Cats or Oyster Bay, but is an OK track. Looks like most SC/NC courses, flat, with trees, sand, and water. Conditions today were OK: fairways mostly dry not Cart Path Only, Greens were fairly slow, but true. Several greens had substantial areas that had been patched, and several greens had new sod on the front aprons. Lots of downed limbs, and some trees as well. Cleanup in progress. The staff is doing a fine job getting the course shaped up. Not a destination course, but a nice change of pace.
