Played here 6-23-10, with a friend who lives in the surrounding development. Thanks to him, got the resident rate of $60 (normal rate is $75), which is competitive for this resort area. Course is interesting, in that each hole is carved out of the trees, and very few are adjacent to each other. A fair amount of water, and it comes into serious play on #9 and #18, so care is warranted. There are houses everywhere, but they are well back from the fairway, and not obtrusive. Conditions were excellent, except for the bunkers, which were recovering from the 3 inches of rain received the night before...maintenance staff was working diligently to clean them up during our round. Greens are moderate-size, and putted medium slow on 6-21. Course is not walkable, in my opinion, due to distances from greens to next tee. A unique feature of the course is the 19th hole, which is a real golf hole (not just the bar), and is used whenever one of the "normal" holes is out of service for any reason. The day we played, the first hole was being redone, so we used the 19th to fill out our card. This is a really good idea! I think this is a nice course, not quite "resort-quality" but above average and worth a play, and I recommend it.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
