$56 (cart included), played on Wednesday, December 1969 at 8:00 AM
Played here 10-17-15 as part of a group. This was the third of four "Big Cats" courses we've played, and the best (and most fun) so far (Lion's Paw and Leopard Chase were the others). This is a really enjoyable course for everyone: distances are reasonable, vistas are just stunning, and the course is very playable without forced carries or tricked up bunkers/ties/moguls. Lotsa houses nearby, but never intrusive. Water almost everywhere, but avoidable with prudence (or with real "go for it" guts!) Conditions were immaculate, despite the tropical torrents of rain the area endured in the last few weeks - attaboy to the grounds crew! Course is NOT walkable: huge distances from green to next tee. Bunkers are plentiful, and some are very deep with multi-foot lips: very British in that regard: avoid 'em is my counsel, or pay a heavy price. Greens are very large, so be prepared for some lengthy lags (in many cases it's a 3 club difference from front to back). They are also all tilted, but not unduly contoured. Course distance markings are sparse, so a range-finder is essential. Staff we met were very cordial, and made a point of thanking us for choosing Tiger Eye. In short, we all like the course very much, and highly recommend.
Would travel: 0-10 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level
