Played here 10-20-13 as part of a golf package. This was the lesser course of the four we played, which included Oyster Bay and Sandpiper Bay, both of which are just 5 minutes away. Having said that, this is not a bad course, it just suffers by comparison with its more elegant neighbors.

Layout is fairly conventional, with nothing spectacular except some very large waste areas running along several holes. Otherwise, it's a fairly typical Carolina course. Conditions were OK the day we played, despite having had heavy rain the night before.

Staff was friendly and professional. Clubhouse is average for the area. Sea Trail Resort is getting a little long in the tooth, and getting a little shabby around the edges, but it's still a pretty nice place to visit. I recommend.

Would travel: 60-120 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Average course for the area
