Have played here several times when in Maui and quite frankly, next to Kapalua it is my favorite course on the island because of the views and the ambiance. The course is a very fair test, not overly difficult nor too easy -- just makes you feel good at the end of the day. Staff is also very courteous and helpful. Great deal when staying at the Makena Resort as price includes fees, cart, rental clubs and shoes (if needed). It's also a daily fee, so if there is availability and you get out early you may be able to get in another round.
Would travel: 120-300 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
