Went with a group of 12 and we were all disappointed. Greens were worse than terrible. Told the"pro" after the round and he said that he played it a couple of days earlier and not that bad. What an A**. They blamed the summer weather. Well, we played 6 other courses and this was by far the worst. Even stupider is the way he handled the complaint. Couldn't get a flat lie on any tee box either. This course is an embarrassment.
On the opposite side is Leopard's Chase. This is a great track in every way. Don't miss this course. Beautiful, fun, nice cart paths and in and outs of fairway bunkers. Golfer friendly. Only a couple of greens distressed and they told us in advance. Their worst greens were better than Lion's Paws best greens. Same owners, all are not equal. The guys who help you with the bags must be overpaid because they don't want to help you with your clubs when you arrive or when you finish. No problem on our part, saved on tips.
Would travel: 0-10 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: Worse than average course for the area
