At this time, course condition is improving nicely. The tee boxes have been seeded and the grass is coming in nicely, the fairways and rough have been mowed, there is new sand in the traps and the greens were punched about a month ago.
In a few weeks, I would say that the coure will be in very good shape. It's not always this way so I will try to make it out more often.
This is a muni course so expectations can't be too high. I play often here and haven't seen this much work going on in awhile, so I was pleasantly surprised.
The other reviews are in general, true but again, there has been some improvements.
I think the greens will always be a bit on the slow side but with the warmer months ahead it should speed up a bit.
Don't let the slope rating fool you. It plays a bit tougher than 121.
Overall, I enjoy the course. It's the best one in the area by far.
