I'm a member of the MBGC so I'm probably biased. However, I play this course at least once a week and often twice. The views are stunning. I look out over the ocean and the estuary and know why I live here! The course is the fastest draining course I've ever played so even rain brings good players from the other nearby courses. Yes, it is relatively easy. The only thing that keeps us competitive in match play against other clubs are the greens. They are definitely wicked but local knowledge helps considerably. I find the quality of the course (greens, fairways, rough, etc.) amazing for a county run course. The only course I like better in the area is Cypress Ridge and it is twice as expensive.
Would travel: 60-120 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level, Best course in the area, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
Condition of Course, Layout, Price, Ambiance, No Houses on Course, Staff, Clubhouse, Pro Shop
