At only 6100 yards from the tips, this is one of the most challenging and aestheticly pleasing courses in the State of Vermont. Host course to this year's Vermont Amateur Tournament where the winning score was a respectable 7 over par. A premium is placed on putting the ball in the fairway off the tee, as the rough and forested areas can turn a good round into a disaster rather quickly. The work is not done when you reach the green. Subtle undulations and back to front sloping greens with many difficult pin placements are the equalizer for its relatively short distance. Meticulously maintained by a dedicated course superintendent and his staff. Full service clubhouse which is open to the public, offering daily lunches, dinners and facilities for outside functions.
Would travel: 120-300 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level, Best course in the area, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
Condition of Course, Difficulty, Layout, Price, Ambiance, No Houses on Course, Pace of Play, Staff, Clubhouse, Pro Shop
