Sligo is a nine-hole course conveniently located to Washington, D. C. and the Bethesda and Silver Spring areas of Montgomery County. It has seven par fours and two par threes. The par three fourth hole and the par four ninth holes are the most challenging but even the short par fours can be tricky if you go long or short into the greens. The course is supported by a non-profit Sligo Creek Golf Association, which has replaced all the bunkers on the course in the last five years. The staff is especially responsive and the sandwiches are excellent. The course is easily to walk. Vacationers who don't have time to play 18 holes will find they can play Sligo in two hours or under on a week day.

A nine-hole course in great shape that is convenient to suburban Maryland and Northern D. C. Play for a quick round. Short with a few tricky holes. Good for beginners but a few challenges for veterans.
