I am a former resident of Yuba City and this was one of the first times I have played Plumas Lake since the change in the greens. I was very impressed with not only the condition of the greens but with the consistency of the speed. My humble opinion is they went a little overboard with some of the undulations, which may slow play a little (lot of 3 putts). The fairways were not in the best of shape but were very playable but the rough was very poorly maintained in a lot of areas (shorter rough, faster pace of play). Overall, although Plumas Lake has rather captive audience, few courses in the area, I was and always has been a pleasant and enjoyable experience at this facility.
Would travel: 0-10 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area
