Really nice course in fantastic shape. Never crowded, Four Seasons resort quality customer service. There is not a particularly good clubhouse/restaurant/bar right at the golf course, which is a drawback for me. It's not a place I would hang around to have a beer after the round (and that says a lot for me!). Plus it seems like it's almost always foggy.
It is really expensive and they are NOT flexible about pricing. No replays. even the super twilight rate is something over $120 and I don't think that starts until like 4pm in the summer. However, there are other courses in the area that are comparable in price but are nowhere near as nice of a golf course (see La Costa Resort). For the pure on course golfing experience, this place is a decent value. If you are the kind of person who is willing to spend $230+ for a round of golf at a nice place, you won't feel cheated here.
Would travel: 60-120 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
