This is a relatively short course, but definitely not a pitch-and-putt. It will challenge almost any casual golfer, and even some who are more than casual players. If you have a problem with hitting a straight ball, this may not be a good course to play. The fairways are relatively narrow, and there are a lot of trees. Perhaps because of that, the course is one of the most spectacular ones you will see in Wisconsin in the fall. And despite the fact that the course is within a good 3-wood of Lake Michigan, there is only one water hazard, which appears beside the second fairway. For the money, it is one of the best values in the Milwaukee area, but don't expect to get in a quickie. Many Milwaukee public courses (and especially Grant) can get very slow.
Would travel: 10-20 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Average course for the area, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
