This is a nice layout and in good condition except for the greens and bunkers. The greens are quite slow and bumpy. Much of the bumpiness is due to unrepaired pitch marks. This seems to be a problem with many muni courses. Players do not demonstrate the pride of ownership you see on private courses.
Some bunkers had not been raked recently. I played on Saturday. If you were only going to rake them once a week it should be to prepare for weekend play but that had not been done.
Pace of play was very slow. Our foursome waited on almost every tee. There was no effort by the staff to speed up the slower players. The pace might improve if there were no walkers. This course is quite hilly and I am sure hard for some to walk. Requiring carts on the weekend when the course is booked full would probably improve the pace.
Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
