I play this course at least twice a week, usually in the early morning. It is a great course that requires course management and yet there are some holes that you can let it rip. There are multiple elevation changes so the course plays longer and shorter than the yardage indicates making you work for the par. You can not walk this course. The carts all have GPS and homes only come into play on the first tee.(left side).
They have recently just re sanded the bunkers and there is water, but not a lot.
The course has some multi level greens and some fast sloping greens that make you place your approach properly or you pay the price.
The Hills is a challenging course for any level golfer.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level, Best course in the area
