The course is in the country near the Brazos River, the greens are for the most part small and well kept. They are usually pretty fast. The fairways are lines with very large trees and though not lush by any means, pretty typical for courses in this area. There are no structures of any kind around the course, save the pro-shop and a maintenance area between a couple of the fairways. The staff is extraordinary. They are cooperative, friendly and outgoing, just as you would expect from a course in a small town. I've recommended it to several people and except for the drive, all have been happy with the course and pace of play.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Average course for the area, Ranks with the best in this price level, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
Condition of Course, Price, Ambiance, No Houses on Course, Staff
