Playing Tam O' Shanter is an annual tradition for my family, and has been for over 15 years. We travel from at least 60 miles and up to 300 to get together, and the day at Tam O'Shanter is always memorable. It's about the finest public course we've ever played, with consistent fairways and greens in a nice variety of layouts. The only beef we might have is that the staff has been a little cranky in the past couple of years--they could use a little refresher on customer service.
Would travel: 60-120 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
Condition of Course, Price, Ambiance, No Houses on Course, Pace of Play
