I was once a member of the men's club when I lived closer to the club. I stayed a member for over eight years due to many friends being members. I have only played it about 3 times in the last 3 years because of living 45 miles away now. My SCGA Affiliate club plays there on occasion. I signed up to play our January tournament at Bonita, and upon arrival I noticed quite a few changes in and around the club house and restaurant. The cousre looked the best I've ever seen it, and once I realized the course routing changes it was a very smart and smoother way to play the cousre. Although the course was quite crowded our event was 20 minutes behind for the first tee time, either from over booking or the quality of players on the course. The round was 5 hours long but e finished long before dark. The sports bar has also improved greatly with fair prices, and plenty of TVs. I would recomend the cousre for any level of player, and a fair price for a fun layout.
Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
