Course is now named The Virginia Beach National and I don't think it is any longer associated with the TPC but it was built to TPC standards and is still maintained to those standards. Designed by Pete Dye for golf not as an add-on to a sub-division and no houses are anywhere near. Prices have been reduced to compete with other local courses and are a real bargain. Without a doubt the best in the area including the nationally rated courses in Williamsburg but at a fraction of their prices. On the Nationwide Tour until last year and won praise from the touring pros. Multiple tee boxes allow you to tame the course somewhat. Greens are well maintained and fast. Four putts are not unusual for the careless. A very special place that you feel when you drive through the front gate. The very first course I would take a friend to play in this area.

Would travel: 0-10 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level, Best course in the area, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
