On a beautiful day, no course other than pricey ones down in Monterey can match the amazing feeling when you walk up to the 17th and 18th tee boxes. It can make up for a lousy round. Those days are hard to predict because of the oceanside weather that can change rapidly. But if you get lucky and the weather is nice, you don't really care what your score happens to be. Good challenging layout too.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Ranks with the best in this price level, Best course in the area
