The Gailes, once again, was in spectacular condition, this course is by far an elite track but provides something unique only to Scotland - links style, large greens with tremendous character, rolling fairways with pot bunkers, multiple double greens. Easily a top 10 public course in Michigan but when you factor in price you feel like you are stealing!! Just a great place to stay/play, very reasonable prices for lodging and dining, three courses on property.
Would travel: 120-300 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing, Ranks with the best in this price level, Best course in the area
