I will play this course every time i visit the Big Island. I love both the island green and #18. The wildlife on the course is unique as well as rare (Hawaiian Goose). The price is very reasonable compared with the resort courses. Be prepared for wind. If you hate wind, don't bother. I find the Big Island CC always interesting with some really great holes. The conditioning of the course is a little iffy in spots. If you want a perfect course, play Mauna Kea or Mauna Lani and spend $200-$300.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
