Fairways are very thin, but the majority are in March. However, they always have hard bare spots all over the fairways on the course no matter what time of the year. There were numerous areas close to greens that were bare and marked as 'ground under repair.' If they resod those areas, it will still be a long time before they are playable.
I've always liked going to this course. It has many good views from teeing areas. However, those perpetually bare areas are preventing me from choosing this course for a group outing in April.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
