Like 3 of 4 Fred Smith Company courses we've played, the infrastructure has gotten so bad it will never recover unless someone with deep pockets buys it (them). Shabby, sparsely stocked clubhouse; terrible cart paths and ground between cart paths and fairways...and poor tee boxes. Some of their 'almost new' Bermuda greens have a lot of bad areas. Housing very close to the course....and a whole lot of them, including semi-detached. It's a very crowded feeling.
I won't judge the fairways, because they were wet and still dormant. It was 'cart paths only'. So many of the cart paths were so bad (pine tree roots heaving up the asphalt) we had to drive around some of them. Bumpy driving onto and off of bridges, too.
Would travel: 0-10 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I won't play again, I wouldn't recommend this course, More than a field, but less than a golf course, Worse than average course for the area
