We have played here many times over the last 25 years or so. They rate themselves as a 4 1/2 star golf course. That is definitely far from true. Tee boxes and greens need to be rebuilt. Dead patches and many, many ball marks on greens. I suspect the greens are in such bad shape that aerating isn't going to help. Cart paths are horrible......like so many asphalt paths on courses with pine tree roots ruining the paths. All of these things suggest the course is not doing well financially.
Several years ago, they built a really nice clubhouse with many rental condos attached on both sides. They promote 'golf packages' but what a disappointment it must be for someone coming there for the first time only to find the golf course in such poor condition. They might return because of accommodations, but not for the golf.
Would travel: 0-10 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I won't play again, I wouldn't recommend this course
