Enjoyed the golf, but not the price I had to pay to play. Too high for what you got. Some of the holes were fun, but most were not memorable. Maybe I am just not into a links style course. Looks to much like a golf course dropped on undulating terrain with roughs rougher than normal and high grasses instead of trees. Also the lay out was sometimes confusing.
The greens were nice. However, if they do not start making players fix their divots, the greens are going to get bad. The warm up area was nice.
As far as what you would call a signature hole, I really did not see any. If I had it to do over, I would not have played at Orchard Hills. For the same price, there has to be a better place within 45 miles of the place. 45 miles is about the distance one has to expect to drive in that area to play golf.
I live in Central Georgia, Macon/Warner Robins area. In my area Orchard Hills would be considered lower half of middle of the pact compared to other courses in Middle Georgia and would be priced about $25 instead of $50+. Maybe I am just spoiled by better golf, better course, superior maintenance and ambiance for half the price.
