The greens are either diseased or just poorly maintained, and the sand bunkers have not been repaired since last week's rains. Management should check the scorecard yardage against the tee box markings and correct one to match the other. The ranger is active and makes regular rounds to maintain player time and course policy. This is a great course layout with many challenging holes and the declining conditions from high volume traffic, but the current conditions of greens and sand traps really impact the course ratings.

The biggest negative comment to be made is that both Stone Mountain courses have the worst quality sand material of any golf course I have ever played.
Stone Mountain also suffers from a golf disease that inflicts all public courses in this area - golfers either do not care or do not know how to repair ball marks or rake bunkers.
