$10 (cart not included), played on Thursday, April 2008 at 2pm
Routed over relatively flat terrain, Deer Run's primary difficulty is its length (over 7000 yards from the tips). Course features include tree-lined fairways, smallish ground based pushed up undulating greens with limited protective bunkering, and water in play on 10 holes. Course conditioning and playability could be considerably improved with a few renovations, redesign/remodeling of a several holes, removal/pruning of overgrown trees, and better course maintenance and conditioning. Much potential for growth. Course is now operated by a new golf management company.
Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
