Great layout. Its funny because you have to take little dirt roads WAY back into the woods. Its a surprise when all of a sudden there is a golf course way back there!
This place is hands down the best value in the area. There is a lot of elevation change, some interesting risk/reward short par 4s. One of them (I don't remember the hole number) is one of my favorite examples of risk/reward on a short par 4. I think the hole is only like 330 yards, but the closer you get to the green, the narrower the approach becomes. The green is surrounded by tall trees almost right to the edge of the green. If you hang back and play a mid iron off the tee, you will have an easy wedge approach. If you take a wood or long iron to try to get close, you run the risk of being blocked out completely if you are off line even by a few yards.
All in all, I would make sure that you play here if you live in this area. Not really a "destination" course, but a great Sunday afternoon or sneak-out-of-work-early course to enjoy with your friends.
The staff and the layout are very friendly.
Would travel: 0-10 Miles
Bottom line: I would play again, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
