SunRiver is a very nice course with great views of the local Desert and Mountain Terrain. Considering that this was the HIGH season, the rate with cart of ($55.00) was reasonable. The rate drops $20 in the summer, so if the heat doesn’t bother you…, if in the area, I will be back. The greens were hard / firm and had speed to them. The front 9 fairways were in bad shape. The back 9 fairways were in better shape (most of the holes are cart path only). On one of the holes on the back 9, the tee boxes as well as the entire fairway had recently been sodded. The practice range did not have much grass at all from which to hit. There was no bunker or chipping either.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
