This course is a nine hole gem in the Greater Boston area. Designed by Donald Ross and operating since 1932, it is really well maintained and better than some more expensive courses I have played. It’s also a beautifully scenic course with brilliant sunrises and sunsets, lovely old willow trees and colorful marsh flowers. Not many courses near the city where you might encounter hawks, loons, deer and fox. The staff are great and pros are knowledgeable and you can get good pricing on fitted new clubs, demos and clubs traded in. You will also play with a great cross section of people from retired couples in their 80s, students from nearby universities and couples introducing their kids to the game. Best time to play is early morning or late afternoon. Be prepared to keep up a steady pace of two hours twenty minutes, which is how the staff make this course available to so many players. Have played their for years as I live nearby, and it’s a great course to fit in nine holes and meet interesting people.
