Alapaha is a perfect course, if you're interested in a quick round of golf on an "executive" course (6 par 3s, 3 par 4s), for a price that won't put a dent in your wallet.
The owners are nice, with John being a very helpful and capable teaching pro.
The greens and fairways are decent. There are starting to be some slight improvements to the look of the course (new tee markers this year), but some work is needed in the areas of the upkeep of the sandtraps, the tee boxes, ball washers and the look of the water collection areas.
Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
