This is my second time to play the wonderful La Cumbre golf course and the first time I was so impressed I wrote the G.M. a letter.
The second visit confirmed my first impression, this place must have some of the best ground staff in the country and the members take care of the course. Not a divot hole anywhere and the incredibly receptive but fast greens make hitting past the hole and spinning it back possible for even the average golfer.
In short this is the nicest course I have played on in a long time and if I ever had the money and lived in the area this would be my first choice course to play.
Would travel: 60-120 Miles
Bottom line: I would play again, Best course in the area
