I live near Lymans and practice (very good practice facilities) and play Jones and Player courses 15-20 rounds a year. Conditions in November are not prime but are by any standard reasonably good for the time of year. Any time you are out there hitting a ball in late November is a good thing in CT.
Using EZ Links to book Lymans provides significant value. I would encourage anyone playing there (any time of year)to use that web facility to book tee times (you do have pay at the time of booking). Two of us played with cart on Nov 22nd this year for less than a weekday morning round during prime season.
Very good courses (Player and Jones) for very competitive fees.
In the ratings section the architects are not listed: Player course is by Gary Player; Jones by Robert Trent Jones.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Ranks with the best in this price level, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
